During the months of June, July and August, we will be holding a monthly activity for the scouts. We must have at least half of the boys from each den participate for the Pack to receive the Summertime Award Certificate.
For each scout that participates in ALL three activities, that scout will receive a commemorative pin which they can wear on their uniform.
JUNE
Date: Thursday, June 18
Where: Black Moshannon State Park
Time: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Program: Lake Dwellers
Time: 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Program: Night Bog Walk
We will meet at the parking lot located just before the Park Office. Anyone going in to the Lake Dwellers program will get wet. Please dress for the water. We will have a 30 min break between programs to allow you time to change clothes/shoes, etc.
JULY
Date: Saturday, July 11 th
Where: Philipsburg
Activity: Heritage Day Parade
Time: 1:15 – 1:30
I will be receiving information on our starting point the Wednesday prior (7/8/09)
Boys need to be in uniform. They may wear a nice pair of shorts with their Class A shirts though.
AUGUST
Date: Tuesday, August 25 th
Time: 6:30 pm
Activity: Family Bingo Night
Location: Gearhartville Sportsman's Club (location tentative)
Fun filled night of Bingo for the Scouts and their families. There will be various small prizes to be won. |
